Mark L. Campagnolo, CPA
Director & Co-Founder

    Mark is a co-founder and director with the firm and will in charge of audit quality and project review. He has been actively involved in the healthcare industry for over 20 years holding progressively responsible positions with major health systems, multi-facility for-profit post-acute providers and primary care organizations in the capacity of controller and CFO, as well as audit engagement manager and consultant for a large regional CPA firm.
    His experience in the areas of provider accounting and financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, reimbursement and both internal and external audit & assurance has provided a strong understanding of the challenges facing healthcare providers in today’s turbulent and unpredictable environment and has contributed to his astute awareness of client needs and service excellence.
   Mark’s warm and compassionate demeanor combined with his technical competence and experience results in clients having a trusted partner who understands their needs and who can be relied upon even in the most challenging situations.
    A lifelong resident of western New York, Mark received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He holds numerous professional certifications and belongs to a variety of professional and community organizations.

David A. Bonk, MBA, CPA.CITP, CMA, CISA, CRISC, CRMA, CHFP, FHFMA, FACHE (Designate)
Managing Director & Co-Founder

    David's career spans over 30 years of public accounting and healthcare provider experience holding C-Level positions with major health systems, multi-facility post-acute providers and acute care organizations in the capacity of controller, CFO, CIO and Chief Compliance Officer, as well as engagement director and healthcare consultant for a large regional and national CPA firm.
    His experience in the areas of provider audit, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, reimbursement and strategic consulting provides a broad base for understanding the dynamics of the healthcare industry and the evolving healthcare environment facing healthcare providers today, as well as emerging industry trends that will influence how providers operate in the future. Combining experience and contemporary thought leadership results in a keen visionary approach to solving complex strategic and operational problems that are situational and unique to each provider.
    David received his MBA in Healthcare Administration and Graduate Certificate in Long-Term Care Management from the University of South Dakota and is completing his Masters of Science in Healthcare Informatics at Dakota State University. He received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and Taxation from the State University of New York at Buffalo. 
    David holds numerous professional certifications in accounting, healthcare, risk and information technology and is only one of 115 CPA’s out of over 50,000 licensed in New York State to have achieved the designation of Certified Information Technology Profession (CITP) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  In addition, he has earned the designation of Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and is a Fellow Designate of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the two highest designations in healthcare finance and administration.
    A lifelong resident of western New York and is active on numerous professional association, not-for-profit and for-profit Boards of Directors.
